What should I wear?

Feel free to dress in clothes that are comfortable for you. You can dress up if you want, or wear casual clothes. God is interested in your heart, not your wardrobe.

Where should I park?

There is ample parking directly outside the front doors and around the complex.

How long is the service?

Our service lasts 75 minutes and includes heartfelt worship music, teaching from the Bible that applies to your life, engaging interaction with the Pastor’s questions, and communion to celebrate the grace and life together we find in Jesus.

Will I be singled out if I’m new?

The Pastor has been told to stop doing that.

Is this a Chinese church?

Hosanna is a church made up of two congregations, English and Chinese. The Chinese congregation is, unsurprisingly, mostly Chinese. The English congregation is a cultural mosaic. We consider ourselves blessed to experience God’s unity in our diversity.

Is there a simplistic map to help find your location?

Yes.

What about my kids?

Hosanna has a Children’s Ministry where your kids will be taught the Bible in age-appropriate classes. Our goal is to make church on Sunday the best hour of your kid’s week. Should you want your child to stay with you during the service, you are welcome to enjoy the service together.

Do students meet on Sundays?

Our middle-school and high-school age students sometimes have their own Sunday morning classes and sometimes join the main service. Our aim is to inspire, engage, and teach about Jesus.

How do I find the room for the English Congregation Sunday Service?

There are two simultaneous services happening on a Sunday morning. The English Congregation meets in the smaller room through the brown double doors. If you find yourself in a larger room where folks are speaking Chinese, you’re probably in the wrong room.

How punctual is the Sunday Service start time?

Honestly, we’re trying. Some more than others.
